Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Senior Litigation Attorney Specialist to join our team at Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice LLC, a renowned civil litigation defense firm with offices in the Midwest. As an associate attorney with at least five years of experience in all phases of commercial litigation, you will have the opportunity to work on complex insurance defense and insurance coverage cases.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage files independently throughout the litigation process. You will conduct fact investigations, handle document productions, and prepare witnesses for deposition. Your expertise will also be utilized in preparing pleadings, briefs, and motions, as well as reviewing and analyzing policies, contracts, and other legal documents.

In addition to your technical skills, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel. A strong understanding of courtroom procedures and protocols is also essential.

We offer a competitive salary of $140,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, basic and voluntary life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and 401K matching.
