This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading construction company as a Public Construction Superintendent. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of contract documents, schedules, and project estimates.
• Confer with preconstruction services to discuss means and methods, systems, and general conditions.
• Assign and monitor project team members to various tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish and implement safety programs, site-specific safety plans, and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Develop and implement quality assurance and control programs to enforce contract specifications and industry standards.
• Inspect work in progress to ensure workmanship meets specifications and contract documents.
• Establish and maintain processes for managing storm water prevention and fugitive dust regulations.
• Develop and implement techniques, methods, and systems to enhance quality, safety, productivity, and management.
• Demonstrate effective management of trade partners to ensure successful and timely project completion.

Requirements

• 5+ years of site superintendent experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• OSHA 30 certificate or ability to attain it within 12 months of hire.
• Experience with public projects and scheduling.
• Proficient in MS Office platforms and Procore.
• Strong communication and team management skills.
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and drive project schedules.
• Knowledge of commercial construction and skilled trades.
