About the Role:

Avera is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily cleaning and supplying of surgical units, patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, bathrooms, offices, etc.
  • Use cleaning devices including wet mops, wringers, dusters, commercial vacuum cleaners.
  • Mix and apply cleaning detergents and solutions.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Six months or more janitorial experience is preferred.

Work Schedule:

Day/Evening shift; 80 hours every 2 weeks. Every other weekend. Occasional holiday. Occasional call time. Hours can vary between 7:30 am - 12:30 am.

Compensation:

The hourly range for this position is $20.50 per hour. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
