Avera, a leading health system, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in collecting blood and other specimens from patients, labeling, transporting, and storing them as directed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood and other specimens from patients
  • Label, transport, and store collected specimens
  • Process all laboratory specimens
  • Maintain and distribute supplies and inventories
  • Assist with analysis, collection, and maintenance of records
Requirements:

A high school diploma or general education degree, along with one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment, coordinating workflow with other team members and ensuring a productive and efficient environment.

Work Schedule and Pay:

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with a 1-hour lunch; 80 hours every 2 weeks. The hourly range for this position is $17.50-$23.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
