Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Pharmaceutical Care: Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, counsel patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintain confidential information.
  • Maintain Controlled Medication and Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, maintain controlled medication, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and Implement Business Solutions: Identify business needs, determine and carry out necessary processes and practices, and monitor progress and results.
  • Model Customer Service Approaches: Provide exceptional customer service, resolve customer complaints and issues, and ensure compliance with company guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure Compliance with Company Policies and Procedures: Analyze and interpret reports, implement and monitor loss prevention and safety controls, and oversee safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Provide Comprehensive Patient Care: Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, administer immunizations, and administer other programs developed by Walmart, in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes/regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • License: Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Training: Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
