  • Utilizing advanced concepts, practices, and procedures, relying on substantial experience and judgment to address a variety of medical conditions.
Key Functions: This role requires a high degree of creativity and independence. The Advanced Practice Provider serves as a consultant, educator, facilitator, change agent, program designer, and resource for a designated patient demographic and their caregivers. This position is characterized by advanced clinical practice, underpinned by expertise in research, leadership, consultation, education, and professional development. The Advanced Practice Provider plays a pivotal role in enhancing collaborative relationships with physicians, healthcare leaders, and nursing staff across various environments to optimize patient and family outcomes throughout the care continuum.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an accredited advanced registered nursing program or a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physician assistant program.
  • Preferred one year of clinical experience.
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Kansas.
