We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team at WelbeHealth in Menlo Park, CA. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our patients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) to patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist patients with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as laundry, light housekeeping, and shopping.
- Aid with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring patients are nourished and hydrated.
- Help patients with safe transfer in and out of their homes and act as a medical escort on vehicles and to medical appointments as assigned.
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Reliable means of transportation
- Bilingual preferred
- Must be registered and cleared with the Department of Social Services Home Care Registry prior to start date
