Key Responsibilities- Administrative Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for the provision of mental health services in our facilities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Clinical Coordination: Manage the operation of the mental health program, including the coordination of services and the supervision of mental health staff, to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient care and associated clinical duties, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning, to meet the unique needs of our inmate/resident population.
- Program Development: Develop and implement evidence-based treatment and therapeutic programs for inmates/residents, including individual, group, and family counseling, to promote positive behavioral change and improved mental health outcomes.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate and timely reports and records, including statistical reports and progress notes, to inform program development and evaluation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and facility staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of services, resulting in improved patient care and outcomes.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited college or university with an advanced degree in psychology or a related clinical area and appropriate certification or license.
- Experience: Five years of clinical experience, including two years in a comparable position, with a proven track record of leadership and program development.
- Skills: Strong leadership and administrative skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
