About the Role:

This position is located at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, and involves working in a fast-paced emergency setting. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive care to patients with mental health needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical screening exams and stabilize patients in crisis
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose and treat mental health conditions
  • Prescribe and manage medications as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:
  • Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
  • Unrestricted Utah MD or DO license or ability to obtain
  • U.S. ACGME Residency
