Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Selectek. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for designing and producing civil engineering construction documents and conceptual site plans.

The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background in civil engineering and 2-5 years of professional experience in civil engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a must, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and production of civil engineering construction documents and conceptual site plans
  • Complete civil utility and site design, including water, sanitary sewer, storm drain, HGL modeling, fire flow design, and stormwater management
  • Generate site grading plans, earthworks calculations, and sediment/erosion control design/permitting
  • Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, project teams, contractors, and owners
Requirements:
  • Four-year bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field from an accredited program
  • 5 years of experience in civil engineering
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Engineer-in-Training (EI) on the path to Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
  • Experience in storm drain, sanitary sewer, water distribution networks, and site grading preferred
Pay Range:

$75,000 - $80,000

Shift and Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
