Job Overview
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Maplewood Long-Term Care facility. As a part-time nurse, you will provide individualized care to residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions aimed at preventative care and health maintenance.

About the Role
This 24-hour per week position offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package. The RN/LPN will work night shifts, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and be eligible for a $3,500 bonus. Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse at Good Samaritan Society, your responsibilities will include:
* Utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents
* Collaborating with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care
* Demonstrating competency and practicing within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizing appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting
* Caring for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A graduate degree from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
* Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
* Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications

Estimated Salary Range
$28.50 - $44.70 per hour
