Endoscopy Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endoscopy Technician to join our faculty team at Houston Community College. As an Instructor Endoscopy Technician, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the art and science of endoscopy, providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in this field.

• Teach endoscopy courses to students, utilizing a variety of instructional methods and materials to engage and motivate learners.
• Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of students and the healthcare industry.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback to students, using a variety of evaluation methods to measure student progress.
• Stay current with developments in the field of endoscopy and incorporate new knowledge and skills into teaching and curriculum development.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and healthcare professionals to ensure that students receive a comprehensive education in endoscopy.

• Associate's degree or higher in a related field, or 6 years of experience as an endoscopy technician.
• 3 years of experience in an endoscopy setting, including a wide range of endoscopy experience and clinical or classroom education skills.
• Knowledge and skill in a variety of computer usage and software, including learning management systems and educational software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
