Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Excel Hotel Group. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of quality and consistency in our food and beverage buffet areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and/or transport all food and beverage items and associated supplies, equipment, and materials to and from the buffet areas.
  • Compliance and Safety: Comply with company, hotel, and brand standards which encourage a safe and efficient hotel operation.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor dining area to ensure adequate supplies of food, beverage, trays, plates, utensils, napkins, condiments, etc. to serve all guests; replenish buffet items as necessary.
  • Guest Service: Welcome guests and respond to requests in a prompt and professional manner. Refer any serious matters to management.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean, neat, and well-organized work and buffet area. Empties trash receptacles and clears tables as required.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
Qualifications
  • Physical Demands: Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30 pounds through a crowded room throughout shift.
  • Food Safety Certification: Food Handlers Card Required.
  • Previous Experience: Previous food and beverage experience preferred.
  • Availability: Must be able to work between the hours of 4AM and 12PM Noon.
