Job Overview:

The College of Medicine's Department of Internal Medicine is in search of a qualified Endocrinology Research Faculty member. The successful candidate will be tasked with conducting pioneering, rigorous, and grant-supported research while actively participating in scholarly endeavors, including peer-reviewed publications and presentations. Additionally, the faculty member will play a significant role in undergraduate education and the behavioral training of medical students, as well as the research development of graduate students and postdoctoral scholars affiliated with the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. This includes mentorship programs, courses, workshops, and supervised research opportunities. Faculty members are also expected to contribute to broader research and training initiatives across the university's various colleges, including but not limited to Arts and Sciences, Public Health, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Health Sciences. These initiatives may involve grant consultation, review processes, and participation in enriching events such as symposiums.

Moreover, the faculty member will support the clinical research objectives of the Division through various responsibilities, including the creation and oversight of clinical protocols, patient recruitment for clinical trials, and involvement in regulatory compliance for clinical research.
