Clinical Endocrinologist

The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a faculty member in Internal Medicine to serve as an attending physician for the Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Division.
This position will be located at the UK HealthCare - Turfland location in Lexington, Kentucky, where a team of experts provides seamless, coordinated care for patients ranging from infants to seniors.
The successful candidate will provide clinical care for patients while supervising residents in ambulatory and hospital-based settings, participate in clinical teaching activities, and support the clinical research mission of the Division.
Additionally, the faculty member will represent the University of Kentucky in a professional manner as an active member of the medical staff, adhering to evidence-based practice standards and providing high standards of customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and research, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care for patients while supervising residents in ambulatory and hospital-based settings.
- Participate in clinical teaching activities within the Division.
- Support the clinical research mission of the Division.
- Represent the University of Kentucky in a professional manner as an active member of the medical staff.
Requirements:
- MD/DO degree or equivalent.
- Residency and completion of fellowship training in Endocrinology.
- KY Medical License within 30 days of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in clinical research and teaching.
