Job Summary

Midland Garage Door is seeking a highly skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across regional routes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a semi-truck according to applicable local, state, and federal transportation laws.
  • Know and follow all safety requirements, regulations, and procedures for operating a tractor and trailer with a Class A CDL.
  • Transport and deliver loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes.
  • Manage time to safely keep schedules.
  • Assist customers with unloading doors and related components at customer locations.
  • Accurately count cargo being unloaded and complete all paperwork.
  • Communicate any shortages or damaged product to the office immediately.
  • Facilitate routine service on trucks, including checking oil, water, gasoline, and air.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of products, colors, styles, and parts.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Proven work experience as a truck driver.
  • Ability to pass required DOT physicals and drug screening requirements.
  • Physically able to lift and carry doors and related components.
  • Ability to remain focused in a busy environment.
