Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CDL Class A driver to join our team at Hercules Industries. As a CDL Class A driver, you will be responsible for delivering finished steel coils to various locations, primarily within a local area, with occasional overnight deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver items safely and efficiently, adhering to scheduled guidelines and maintaining accurate records.
  • Inspect loads prior to departure to ensure all cargo is properly secured for safe travel.
  • Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to all applicable safety and security standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including maintaining delivery, truck, and driving records.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL license with a minimum of 3 years of CDL experience and meeting all DOT requirements.
  • Graduation from High School or GED equivalent, three (3) years of relevant experience, or any combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform essential duties.
  • Flatbed and 48' and 53' trailer experience required; steel hauling and delivery experience desired.
  • Good driving record and ability to pass background and drug tests.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
Work Environment
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
  • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, working both inside and outside, and on elevated balconies.
