Job Title: Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in implementing and managing our digital content strategy across various social media platforms. This includes creating and scheduling engaging content, executing campaigns, and fostering a strong online presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and post compelling content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive content calendar to ensure timely and relevant posts.
  • Develop and execute an events promotion strategy to increase online engagement.
  • Collaborate with the media relations team, development department, and program units to align content with broader messaging.
  • Work with community partners and youth groups to create and manage content opportunities.
  • Provide social media training to organizational spokespeople, attorneys, and experts to elevate their visibility as Legal Aid leaders.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and conversations to inform content creation.
  • Use analytics tools to track social media performance and generate regular performance reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management with a focus on content creation, copywriting, and day-to-day execution.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow social media channels.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and creativity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a mission-driven organization.
  • Familiarity with design-thinking and human-centered strategies.
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and tools.
  • Understanding of SEO and content marketing as they relate to social media.
