Residential Monitor

The Residential Monitor is a critical role at Turning Point of Central California, Inc. responsible for the supervision and monitoring of residents in the Belgravia Center.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct supervision and monitoring of residents to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Enforce program policies and schedules, and document any incidents or violations.
- Conduct regular security checks, including perimeter walks, monitoring of grounds, and documentation of rounds, counts, and room inspections.
- Perform pat-down searches of residents and respond to incoming telephone calls and visitors.
- Document resident behavioral incidents and report any policy violations.
- Perform filing and other general office duties as needed.
- Collect and process urine specimens in accordance with stated procedures.
- Respond quickly and efficiently in emergency situations.
- Drive on Agency business and maintain physical presence at the program.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of monitor experience or 48 units of completed coursework from an accredited college or two years of work experience working with justice-involved adults or in a related field.
- Current certified training in emergency first aid preferred.
- Ability to document communications, behaviors, and facility events accurately and legibly.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and other communication platforms.
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a dependable means of transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment physical, drug screen, and TB test.
- Competitive pay rate: Class 100 ($20.63/hour) effective 7/1/24.
