Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Montessori Educator to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program that aligns with our Montessori philosophy.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students, helping them to build confidence and independence.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a well-organized and inviting classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and involve them in the educational process.
Requirements:
  • Montessori diploma or certification (0-3, 3-6, or 0-6) or willingness to pursue certification through our Prepared Montessorian Institute.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-6 in a group setting, such as daycare, nursery, homeschool, aftercare, or preschool.
  • Familiarity with child-led philosophies, such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori, and/or a willingness to learn more.
  • Bachelor's degree in any subject.
