Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a home infusion nurse and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be a Registered Nurse in New York State with a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a home infusion nurse or equivalent experience working in another field-based home nursing organization is required.
  • IV and PICC certification is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Conducts initial nursing assessments and evaluations to qualify patients for home infusion therapy.
  • Trains patients and family members in all procedures and equipment.
  • Provides patients and family members with timely and accurate information regarding our services.
Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, and climbing all day.

The ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes is also required.
