Job Summary

Your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Ensure that our pharmacy adheres to the highest standards of patient safety, including proper medication handling and storage.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Lead our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care and service, while maintaining a culture of professionalism and respect.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Ensure that our pharmacy complies with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to patient confidentiality and data security.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure that our pharmacy meets the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Lead and develop our pharmacy team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Inventory Management: Manage our pharmacy's inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies and medications to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Financial Profitability: Manage our pharmacy's finances, ensuring that we are operating within budget and achieving our financial goals.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate potential risks and losses, ensuring that our pharmacy is secure and protected.
  • Workflow Management: Develop and implement efficient workflows to ensure that our pharmacy is running smoothly and effectively.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License: Must have an active pharmacy license in the state in which you are employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List: Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification: Must have immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Pharmacist in Charge: Must be listed on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge'.
  • PMP Registration: Must submit required information/documents to your state PMP administrator to register for PMP access.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree: A degree in pharmacy or a related field is preferred.
