Requirements and Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience as a CNA
  • Valid CNA certification in the state where you'll be practicing
  • BLS certification
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills
  • Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
Job Responsibilities
  • Care for patients by supporting activities of daily living and assisting with personal hygiene
  • Monitor patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, as well as recording intake and output
  • Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
  • Communicate effectively with supervising LPN/RN regarding changes in patient condition, vital signs, or status
  • Follow hospital safety rules and procedures
