Job Description

This is a dynamic opportunity in a supportive environment, welcoming both experienced and first-time travel nurses who meet the specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Orientation hours: 40 hours (Non-Billable)
  • Work in a unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6-8
  • First-time travelers are welcome
  • Weekend work is required, no more than every other weekend
  • On-call is not required
  • Floating within the facility or between similar units may be needed
  • Note that this is more of a rehab unit than acute care
  • Support needed for night shifts; LPNs and LVNs who administer medications for RNs are welcome
  • Temporary housing will not be provided within a 50-mile radius of the facility
  • COVID-19 vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions and declinations allowed
  • Must work at least 3 out of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
  • Flexibility to float between different facilities if needed
  • Be prepared to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
  • Scrub colors: Any color for all except OR/L&D where provided; business appropriate street clothes for Micro Bio Tech, and any color scrubs or business casual for MLT
