Pediatric Surgery Nurse

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Surgery Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a member of our surgical team, you will provide exceptional care to our pediatric patients, working closely with our experienced surgeons and medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in pediatric surgery
