Registered Nurse Unit Manager

**Job Summary**
Oneida Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Unit Manager in our Utica, NY facility. As a key member of our leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Supervise and Coordinate Nursing Care**: Oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring that all nursing staff are meeting the standards of care and adhering to our facility's policies and procedures.
- **Develop and Implement Policies**: Collaborate with our leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a positive and supportive work environment.
- **Mentor and Educate**: Provide guidance and support to less experienced nurses, helping them to develop their clinical and leadership skills.
- **Monitor and Evaluate**: Regularly review patient records and quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- **Represent the Unit**: Serve as a liaison between the nursing unit and upper-level management, ensuring that the needs and concerns of our patients and staff are represented.
**Requirements:**
- **RN License**: Must hold a valid State RN license.
- **Experience**: 3 years of long-term care experience preferred, with 2 years of charge nurse experience preferred.
- **Skills**: Strong computer skills and excellent communication skills.
