Position Overview: Accountable for the precise and prompt resolution of all financial institution returned items. Delivers exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders while minimizing risk to the organization. Informs clients and branch personnel about the resolution process and offers alternative service options when necessary. Develops and sustains a foundational understanding of various products, including but not limited to Taxpay, Direct Deposit, Readychex, Garnishments, Workers Compensation, Health and Benefits, National Health FSA, FSA Debit card Advantage, and their respective systems to make informed decisions regarding revenue generated from these products. Investigates and addresses product and service concerns raised by the field and clients. Manages client objections with the assistance of a mentor and oversees the return process to maximize the recovery of lost revenue in accordance with established standards and guidelines. Processes returns, resolutions, and inbound call requirements to meet departmental benchmarks. Executes daily processing of all new and pending returned items for the designated products. Collaborates with a mentor to manage the daily EDI payment report, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of updates to prevent penalty assessments. Works alongside their mentor on the daily payroll hold report to guarantee precision and promptness of updates to avert service-related complications. Maintains daily call metrics as per the provided forecast. Adheres to departmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance on a daily basis. Assesses client status to determine the suitable services they are authorized to utilize while mitigating risk and exposure. Engages in continuous training to enhance knowledge and skills. Ensures compliance with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, NACHA, and other regulatory bodies. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration is preferred. Experience in inbound calls or call center operations is required. Background in Customer Service, Finance, Accounting, or Payroll is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access is advantageous. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Collections or Banking is preferred. Work Schedule: Hybrid work arrangement (In-office Monday-Wednesday, Remote Thursday & Friday, provided the candidate has a designated, quiet workspace and reliable internet connection at home).
