Clinical Abdominal Imaging Specialist

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is actively seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time faculty role within the Abdominal Imaging Section of the Department of Radiology.
The Department of Radiology is equipped with cutting-edge imaging technologies across multiple facilities, including adult hospitals, a designated Cancer Center, a pediatric hospital, and a busy imaging center. Our department comprises a dedicated team of 50 faculty members, 14 fellows, and 40 residents, renowned for its robust educational initiatives. We also host 4 abdominal imaging fellows in our ACGME accredited fellowship program.
- Essential Qualifications: Candidates should possess extensive clinical expertise in various aspects of abdominal imaging, encompassing computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, fluoroscopy, conventional radiographs, and percutaneous biopsy. Beyond clinical responsibilities, the selected individual will be expected to engage in the department's academic objectives, contributing to multidisciplinary research and the education of residents, medical students, and interns. Opportunities for research startup funding will be considered selectively, and dedicated time for pursuing academic interests is available.
- Certification Requirements: Candidates must be Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology or an equivalent body, with specialized training in Abdominal Imaging, and must hold or be eligible for a medical license in North Carolina.
