Job Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist with daily living activities such as grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting, and incontinence management.
  • Mobility and Transportation: Safely escort clients to appointments, errands, and social events, promoting independence and mobility.
  • Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals for clients who require assistance due to age or medical conditions.
  • Medication Management: Ensure accurate and timely administration of medications, preventing medication errors and mix-ups.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional companionship, listening, and empathy to help clients cope with life's challenges.
  • Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, encourage socialization, and facilitate participation in community activities.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Administrative Tasks: Schedule appointments, pick up prescriptions, remind clients of important events, and communicate with healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in caregiving or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
