About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in Bellevue, Washington.

This is a 40-hour per week, ongoing position with a shift of 8 hours, days. The successful candidate will provide mammography services to patients in accordance with physician orders, prepare mammography rooms and diagnostic equipment, and perform high-quality testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Testing: Perform mammography images through clinical protocols, position patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest, and develop films in accordance with proper techniques.
  • Computer System: Ensure patient information is accurately inputted into the departmental computer system, select current accounts, and complete patient procedures as directed.
  • Customer Service: Provide timely, responsive, expert services to customers, including patients, physicians, and fellow employees, and maintain strict patient and employee confidentiality.
  • Patient and Employee Safety: Maintain safe radiation levels, perform equipment checks, and adhere to regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire
  • Basic Life Support
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification required at hire from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
