Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team in Bellevue, Washington.

Job Summary

As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mammography services to patients in accordance with physician orders. You will prepare mammography rooms and diagnostic equipment, perform high-quality testing, and develop films. You will also exercise professional judgment and uphold medical ethics in the performance of diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography images through clinical protocols and position patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest.
  • Develop films in accordance with proper techniques and evaluate mammography images for technical quality.
  • Provide patient education on procedures according to age-specific needs and facilitate patients' cooperation and alleviate anxiety.
  • Verify appropriate procedures to be performed by checking physicians' orders, outpatient prescriptions, and prior reports.
  • Ensure patient information is accurately inputted into the departmental computer system.
Requirements
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certification required at hire from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of mammography experience.
