Are you dedicated to enhancing patient experiences through exceptional service? Consider the role of a Culinary Service Specialist.

In this position, you will be responsible for the setup, preparation, and assembly of meals and trays tailored for patient service. Your duties will include preparing nourishments, infant and pediatric formulas, and tube feedings as necessary. You will also monitor inventory levels and restock supplies in patient care areas, ensuring that all food service meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning of workspaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
  • Manage inventory and restock supplies according to established par levels, ensuring a well-organized galley.
  • Regularly check and document temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and food items, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Inspect food items for quality and safety, ensuring proper rotation and monitoring of expiration dates.
  • Deliver nourishments, formulas, and tube feedings to patients as required.
  • Transport food carts, racks, and dish bins efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness by performing deep cleaning of equipment, refrigerators, and other areas as mandated by regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and portion food items for patient tray assembly, ensuring accuracy in weighing and measuring for special diets.
  • Cook and prepare both hot and cold meals using standardized recipes for patient menus.
  • Manage leftover food items appropriately and prepare bulk nourishments as needed.
