Patient Care Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Tech II to join our team at Baystate Health. As a Patient Care Tech II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including hygiene, skin care, mobility, and monitoring
- Perform various technical tasks and bedside functions, including phlebotomy and EKGs
- Manage equipment and perform or assist in all procedures on the unit
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Assist with treatment plans and monitor patient conditions during treatment
- Document treatments and activities consistently
- At least one year of patient care experience
- Proficient in reading and writing in English
- Able to maintain professional composure in medium to high-stress situations
- Effective communication skills
