Role Overview:
As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in influencing the quality of care provided to patients and the support offered to staff. Your responsibilities will include leading a dedicated team of nursing professionals in delivering compassionate and high-quality patient care. You will be instrumental in the orientation, training, and ongoing development of nursing personnel, ensuring that exceptional service standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor nursing staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Ensure the delivery of quality patient care through effective supervision and assessment.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment for all team members.
Essential Qualifications:
• Valid RN licensure in the State of Michigan.
• Associate's degree in nursing is mandatory; a Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care settings is required.
• Experience in critical care and supervisory roles is advantageous.
• Certifications in BLS, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required (available upon hire).
Position Details:
• Part-time role (0.6 – 0.9 FTE), requiring 24-36 hours per week.
• Shifts will be 12 hours, alternating between day and night.
• Availability for every third weekend is expected.
