Night Shift Nurse Supervisor

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Night Shift Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a Night Shift Nurse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our residents, providing leadership support and assistance with hands-on resident care and services.
Responsibilities:- Coordination of Health Needs: Identify on-going care and services needs of residents, ensure proper evaluation, follow-through, and documentation for residents with a change in condition or health care requirements.
- Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance: Strive for excellent quality care and service delivery, demonstrate knowledge of key quality improvement areas, and actively participate in Sunrise Quality Assurance & Clinical Meetings.
- Medication Programs: Regularly monitor each resident's medication and treatment profile, accurately and promptly transcribe, and update physician orders in the resident's electronic health record.
- Resident Care: Respond to guest/resident, family and/or visitors' request(s) in a timely and professional manner, maintain confidentiality of all resident information, and provide supervisory support by managing the staffing on the assigned shift.
- Education: Graduate of approved college/school of nursing.
- License: Maintains a current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN).
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment.
- Skills: Demonstrates knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to the health and wellbeing of the elderly population, possesses written and verbal skills for effective communication, and ability to teach and guide team members to provide quality clinical care.
