Position Overview
The Production Assembler role involves the manual assembly of small components utilizing hand tools, fixtures, and equipment. The individual will be responsible for inspecting, weighing, packaging, and identifying defective medical devices as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components from subassemblies (both on and off-line hand assembly).
- Conduct sorting of products to identify defects as required.
- Perform visual inspections to ensure quality using various magnification tools.
- Complete necessary production records and work order documentation.
- Weigh, count, package, and label finished products.
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area.
Work Environment
This position is conducted in a clean room setting. The employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods, depending on the machinery in operation. Additionally, the ability to occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 25 lbs is necessary.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Excellent manual dexterity for hand assembly tasks.
- Strong hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to understand and follow written procedures.
- Capacity to receive constructive feedback and work independently on assigned tasks.
