Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Ensure department personnel provide exceptional service and information to patients, providers, and pharmaceutical partners.
  • Operations: Manage daily pharmacy operations, improve prescription numbers, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Compliance: Adhere to federal and state laws, company policies, and procedures related to prescription incidents and quality improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Control and maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering and stocking merchandise.
  • People and Performance Management: Supervise and train pharmacy team members, ensuring they meet performance expectations and adhere to company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, verification, and records management.
  • Licensure: Current pharmacist license in the states within the district (or willing to obtain within 1 year).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience at a Walgreens Local Specialty Pharmacy.
  • Performance: Overall score of Exceeds Expectations for the most recent performance review period.
