  • Manage receipt, storage, accountability (both short and long-term), issuance, transfer, turn-in, packaging, and shipment of materials.
  • Conduct serviceability checks, repairs, and preventative maintenance on training resources.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for Army accountability.
  • Maintain historical records, both digital and hardcopy, for all standard and non-standard Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) equipment and Graphics Training Aids (GTAs) relevant to mission support functions.
  • Weigh, tag, store, inventory, and refill oxygen (O2), carbon dioxide (CO2), and propane bottles for TADSS devices that require compressed gases.
  • Schedule training sessions to assist clients and certify individuals to operate TADSS when applicable.
  • Deliver training and operations in accordance with all relevant manuals and guidelines.
  • Track utilization rates and input data into the appropriate databases or worksheets.
  • Oversee facility access and key control.
  • Prepare, assess, and deliver assigned instruction in line with The U.S. Army Learning Concept for Training and Education, including differentiated instruction and available operational instructional materials.
  • Qualify and provide training certification and recertification for new instructors and Instructor/System Operators.
  • Train the trainer to effectively conduct training for other military personnel using the EST II and associated facilities.
  • Offer remedial training and special assistance as required.
  • Operate the computer control station to manage training sequencing and video/audio playback functions, following manufacturer's diagrams and specifications.
  • Input all scheduled preventive maintenance into the TS-MATS web-based program according to -10 operation and maintenance procedures required for the EST II.
  • Perform daily maintenance and ensure the cleanliness of the EST II training facility.
  • Instruct and train operational tasks for the EST II to Soldiers and Government employees on Basic Rifle Marksmanship in accordance with DA PAM and certified or approved EST II Program of Instruction (POI) when the primary instructor is unavailable.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Possession of a valid US issued Driver's License.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background investigation. Strong interpersonal skills in a collaborative development environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a team, aligned with organizational objectives.

Work Environment:

  • Standard 8-hour workday during regular business hours; may require special operating hours based on client needs.
  • Work is performed indoors under varying lighting conditions.
  • Exposure to bright flashes of light may occur.
  • Noise levels may range from 50db to 165db.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and sitting are required.
  • Must be able to stoop, squat, kneel, and crouch.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms, as well as communicate verbally and audibly.
  • Frequent lifting and moving of items up to 35lbs.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
