About the role: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA at Quality Talent Group
We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA to join our team at Quality Talent Group. As a COTA, you will work closely with our therapy team to provide high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the therapy team and under the guidance of an OT to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Select therapy activities to fit residents' needs and capabilities.
- Assist residents in carrying out daily activities and monitor their progress.
- Teach residents how to use special equipment to assist with daily function.
- Collaborate with the OT to establish a rehabilitation plan and report residents' progress.
- Supervise residents' activities to ensure they are done properly and handle administrative and clerical tasks for the therapy team.
Requirements:
- A graduate of an accredited OTA program.
- Current OTA license.
- Experience in long-term-care settings preferred.
