Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Security Site Supervisor for the Dadeland area.

As a Security Site Supervisor, your role will involve protecting and serving clients across various sectors, including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government. You will function as a crucial link between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security personnel. Your responsibilities will include overseeing staff during assigned shifts, providing guidance, recognition, and disciplinary actions within the authorized range.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $23

Work Schedule

Full Time - Mornings (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM)

Essential Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Possess a valid Florida Security License (D License)
  • Hold a valid driver's license
  • Have 3-5 years of supervisory experience in security
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Proficient in using a computer or tablet
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • Subject to background checks and drug screening as part of the hiring process
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily security operations at the assigned client site
  • Manage a team of security officers and supervisors, including hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, and development
  • Ensure high-quality security services to safeguard people and property
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees
  • Coordinate support services to meet financial and operational goals while providing excellent customer service
  • Ensure compliance with reporting and contract requirements
  • Address escalated security issues or emergencies effectively
  • Communicate staffing needs and assist in recruiting quality candidates
  • Develop staff through performance management and training initiatives
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure employee grievances are addressed
  • Ensure communication of policies and job openings at the site
  • Meet contractual scheduled hours with minimal unbilled overtime
  • Conduct site-specific training and maintain operational procedures
  • Manage uniforms, equipment, and supplies for the account
  • Engage proactively with clients to ensure satisfaction and address needs
  • Utilize management software for scheduling, billing, and reporting
  • Enforce company policies as outlined in employee handbooks and memos
