Job Summary

The Sr Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for inventory management of our fulfillment centers. This role provides support to the Fulfillment Center Operations Team and the Supply Planning Team through inventory control management and service management on supply-related constraints within the assigned fulfillment center(s).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform extensive research on inventory-related reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement inventory planning strategies for seasonal and promoted products.
  • Collaborate with the Fulfillment Center Strategy Team to identify areas for improved inventory management practices and network optimization.
  • Monitor fulfillment center performance metrics and drive improvement activities.
  • Work closely with the Supply Planning Team to ensure inventory needs are met and constraints are communicated to distributors.
  • Analyze supply and demand imbalances and facilitate resolution throughout the supply chain.
  • Allocate constrained parts in coordination with Commercial teams.
  • Rebalance excess inventory between fulfillment centers to ensure sufficient supply and minimize obsolescence.
  • Assist in quantifying and defining scope for capacity, resource, logistics, and supply chain planning.
  • Act as a super user for planning tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, operations, strategy, or a related field.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to diagnose and resolve complex supply chain problems.
  • Experience in end-to-end supply chain management involving distribution, inventory management, and project management.
  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyze supply chain management problems.
  • Passion for driving continuous improvement through root-cause solutions.
  • APICS Supply Chain Certification and/or Green Belt Certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and disciplines.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and its impact on Master Production Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning, Finite Scheduling, and Distribution Requirements Planning.
  • Prior experience in a high-volume, fast-paced, customer-focused supply chain.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, fulfillment center teams, and distribution center teams.

Work Environment

  • Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods.
  • Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 20+ lbs.
  • May be exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.
  • Prolonged use of personal computer and telephone.
