Position Overview:
The Aerospace Maintenance Technician I is responsible for diagnosing issues related to aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces, and control systems, including anti-icing, pneudraulics, engines, auxiliary power units, and environmental systems.

Key Responsibilities:
This technician will perform repairs, replacements, and refurbishments on aircraft structures such as wings and fuselage, as well as functional components like rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic systems. The use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery—including shears, sheet metal brakes, welding equipment, rivet guns, and drills—is essential for these tasks.

Technical Proficiency:
The role requires the ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering specifications, and other documentation to assess the feasibility and methods for repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.


Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Unit or Intermediate level repairs and/or modifications is required.
- At least 3 years of experience on one of the following airframes: H-60, AH-64, H-47, H-6, OH-58, or civilian equivalent.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, engineering drawings, technical manuals, and technical orders is essential.
- Flexibility to work extended or multiple shifts and travel as necessary to fulfill customer mission requirements.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

Desired Skills:
- A minimum of 250 flight hours is required.
- Experience with CH/MH-47 or civilian equivalents is preferred.
- Documented Military/DOD Service School or Civilian/FAA equivalent training is desirable.
- A current and active Secret Level Security Clearance is required.

Security Clearance Statement:
This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.
