Role Summary

Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Incident Management Capability Support Officer. This position plays a critical role in enhancing our incident management service delivery, including increasing our IM capability and capacity with volunteers and staff members performing IM roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with supporting volunteers and staff to assist in their development and progression within incident management pathways.
  • Facilitate the development plans of volunteers and staff in IM pathways, linking them to options around IM roles and helping develop their IM personal development plans based on roles within the AIIMS structure.
  • Collaborate with Senior operational members to ensure the efficient and effective running of incidents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require relevant skills and experience in incident management, including:

  • Completion of relevant courses and development of skills and knowledge.
  • Experience in IM roles and accreditation in the AIIMS structure.
