Key Responsibilities

The Echocardiography Specialist will be responsible for operating ultrasound machinery and conducting a range of diagnostic procedures specific to echocardiography. The role requires proficiency in performing 2D/Doppler echocardiograms, pharmacological stress tests, and assisting with transesophageal echocardiograms.

1. Conduct ultrasound diagnostic imaging on patients in accordance with established departmental protocols.

2. Prepare and verify that all equipment is operational, safe, and in proper working condition.

3. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and treatment rooms following each procedure.

4. Ensure completion of all quality assurance checks and maintain accurate equipment logs.

5. Manage clinical supply inventory effectively.

Qualifications

Required:

*An Associate's Degree or a one-year certificate from a health-related program in a relevant medical field, with training in cardiac ultrasound preferred.

*Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as RDCS or RVT, or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RVS or RCS.
