Responsibilities:
The Echocardiography Specialist will operate advanced ultrasound technology and conduct a range of diagnostic procedures within the

field of Echocardiography. The role requires proficiency in performing 2D/Doppler echocardiograms, pharmacological stress tests, and assisting with transesophageal echocardiograms.

  • Conducts ultrasound imaging on patients following established departmental protocols
  • Prepares and verifies that all equipment is operational, safe, and ready for use
  • Ensures thorough maintenance of equipment and workspace after each imaging session
  • Completes all necessary quality assurance checks and maintains accurate equipment logs
  • Manages clinical supply inventory effectively

Qualifications:

Required:
*Associate's Degree or a one-year certificate from a health-related program in a relevant medical field, with preferred training in cardiac ultrasound
*Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as RDCS or RVT, or certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RVS or RCS
