Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe. As a respiratory therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapy.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patients for therapeutic response and notify providers and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response.
- Assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients and respond to emergent patient situations.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Neonate Resuscitation certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner certification issued by the Texas Medical Board.
- CRT license issued by the NBRC.
- Associate Degree from an accredited respiratory program.
- Ability to work nights and rotating weekends.
