Warehouse Supply Specialist

As an integral member of our Appleton Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless supply of raw materials and efficient movement of unfinished goods through the manufacturing process. Operating a forklift safely and adhering to safety policies and procedures will be your top priorities. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining kit carts, facilitating product movement through the production process, and adhering to receiving procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe operation of a stand-up and LP forklift.
• Supply raw materials to the production process as needed.
• Maintain kit carts and facilitate product movement through the production process.
• Adhere to receiving procedures and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Demonstrate knowledge of parts and their locations.
• Handle and consolidate inventory in the stockroom and other areas.
• Maintain varnish levels and safely operate industrial ovens.
• Participate in physical inventory activities and use lift assistance to handle products weighing over pounds.
• Meet established efficiency and productivity standards and maintain S and Lean Manufacturing standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing business demands.

Requirements:

• A minimum of year of related experience or demonstrated warehouse material handling or forklift operator skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required forklift certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management, and organizational skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
