Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot machinery and conduct routine preventative maintenance.
  • Read, interpret, and follow diagrams, blueprints, schematics, instructions, and operation manuals.
  • Maintain a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
  • Clean, repair, and install equipment and components as necessary.
  • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools effectively.
  • Understand and operate testing equipment, such as multimeters.
  • Keep a clean and organized workspace.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks on facilities as assigned.
  • Lift or carry up to 50 lbs and push or pull up to 80 lbs as required.
  • Adhere to company policies and federal regulations.
  • Provide personal hand tools that meet required standards.
  • Work a continental schedule of 12-hour shifts, including potential overnight shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Complete any additional tasks assigned to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of products and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Associate's or technical degree (CIT, INT, or EAT certification recommended).
  • Preferred: 3 years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
  • Prior welding experience is advantageous.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Business System (or equivalent).
  • Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to respond competently in emergencies.
  • Experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
  • Follow manufacturer's specifications and directions accurately.
  • Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems.
