Salary: $30/hour

This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless admissions processes for prospective residents. As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing resident census information, greeting office visitors, and interviewing prospective residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

  1. Review resident census information to ensure informed decision-making about room/facility availability
  2. Greet office visitors and answer telephones professionally and helpfully
  3. Conduct in-person and phone interviews with prospective residents, family members, and/or responsible parties
  4. Provide information and support to prospective residents and their families regarding assisted living and skilled nursing services
  5. Schedule and conduct tours of our facilities
  6. Document general information on leads and activities related to inquiries in our CRM program
  7. Assist prospective residents and their families with completing admissions contracts, forms, and required paperwork
  8. Ensure timely completion of admissions contracts and supporting documents
  9. Route completed admissions documents appropriately and coordinate resident admissions
  10. Support liaison functions by screening faxed or online referrals and assisting with contacting referral sources and families as needed
  11. Participate in company events, trade shows, and seminars as scheduled

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  3. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and health-care-related regulations
  4. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  5. Effective presentation skills for small groups and the general public
  6. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to learn CRM and EHR software
