Description: The Advisor/Director is responsible for providing direction and expertise concerning the regulations, strategies, and methodologies for the designated activity. This role involves utilizing knowledge of the specific activity and safety protocols to prepare participants both mentally and physically for optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities (tasks include, but are not limited to):
1. Develop effective practice/rehearsal and performance plans.
2. Offer leadership and support to team members.
3. Foster student engagement and build strong relationships.
4. Inspire participants/athletes to reach their fullest potential.
5. Oversee the maintenance of equipment and uniforms.
6. Supervise all areas of involvement, including but not limited to: gyms, fields, arenas, theaters, locker rooms, buses, etc.
7. Collaborate effectively with staff, the Activities Director, families, and community resources.8. Ensure adherence to all rules and regulations of the MSHSL.
9. Comply with and support all district policies and regulations.
10. Create a program-specific handbook.
